Yes. The daily catch limit for recreational anglers is 5 kg per person per day (the limit may be exceeded by a single fish that itself weighs more than 5 kg). Many species have minimum legal sizes (e.g. sea bass 25 cm, dentex 30 cm, conger eel 70 cm) and daily quantity limits (octopus max. 2, grouper max. 1). Some animals are fully protected, for example lobster. Please familiarise yourself with the current regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture before fishing.
